During »The Trip« we not only enjoyed fish & chips and unexpected sunny days in England but also paid tribute to the history of the New Balance 1500. We took 30 popular colorways of the 1500 from the last three decades with us and created a lookbook with pictures of highly limited editions, beautiful colorways and even unreleased samples from German sneaker pioneer Hikmet Sugoer.
We used the diverse scenery of the journey for a »1500« photo collection and themed almost every colorway with a matching environment in terms of color and background story. For instance the 1500GT »Robin Hood« was shot on the famous stone walls in Cumbria, the 1500RA »Cumbrian Red Ale« found its spot on the bar of a traditional British pub and the 1500CHF »Chosen Few« perfectly matched the blue deck of the Calais-Dover-ferry.
